Why Use a Blackout Backdrop

Blackout photography backdrops block light from passing through the fabric’s rear side. While standard printed backdrops are suitable for most settings, blackout backdrops are recommended for times when stray light from behind could cause issues. For example, a regular photographic backdrop works well when used near a wall; however, if you plan to hang your backdrop in front of a window, or suspended in the middle of a room, a blackout backdrop is recommended.
