8" x 1-1/2" Shock Absorbing Stem Mount Rigid Caster - Part# 7M-GDS200ARS

This heavy duty spring loaded caster is the premium shock absorbing caster available for loads requiring 500 pounds of capacity or less. Not only does it protect sensitive equipment from shock loads and vibration but it also reduces noise during transportation and has the ability to roll over obstructions. 

The 7M-GDS Series features a special NBR rubber based spring system instead of conventional metal springs. This eliminates shortened service life due to rust or loss of tension within standard metal springs. Additionally, the NBR rubber offers a softer, more ergonomic ride with less recoil when the caster goes over obstacles. With multiple wheel and mounting options, the 7M-GDS Series is the go-to series for a wide variety of applications. This caster is RoHS and CE Mark compliant.

About the Rig: 

This rigid caster rig is composed of a pressed steel base plate designed to be used with a cup pointed set screw that is attached to a powder coated aluminum frame and carbon steel legs. The rig houses a NBR rubber based spring system that eliminates shortened service life due to rust or loss of tension within standard metal springs. Additionally, the NBR rubber offers a softer, more ergonomic ride.

About the Wheel:

This shock absorbing caster comes standard with a premium polyurethane tread (95 shore A) molded to an aluminum core. The polyurethane tread is non-marking and safe for all floor types. The wheel also includes easy roll maintenance free ball bearings.
