Programming is required. We offer FREE VIN programming so the module arrives programmed to your VIN. Just put your VIN in the "Notes to seller" field you'll be able to fill out during checkout otherwise we'll message after the purchase for your VIN.

These units are part number specific, not vehicle specific. If you do not match your part number and have the module programmed to your vehicle, you will have various issues after installation.

Fitment

BCM will fit many GM vehicles ( Chevrolet GMC Buick Pontiac Cadillac ) from 2006 to 2013 with the same part number. Programming is required, see information below.

Programming 

For the module to work properly in your vehicle, you must follow the below three steps:

Step 1: Match your part number series per above fitment guide

Step 2: Program BCM to your VIN. Your local dealer or certified mechanic will be able to handle this. We offer FREE VIN programming so the BCM arrives programmed. Just put your VIN in the "Notes to seller" field you'll be able to fill out during checkout otherwise we'll message after the purchase for your VIN.

The SIR warning indicator may remain on after the BCM is replaced. You must perform a "Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM" through an OE level scan tool capable of doing this procedure. Please consult your local mechanic.

Tech Notes

Module has been tested and inspected by our experienced electronics techs! Some of those tests/repairs are listed below:
• Power and communication tested good
• Inputs verified
• Unit does go into shutdown/sleep mode - no parasitic draws
• Unit opened up and board drivers, relays were tested.
• No corrosion was found. Traces all tested good.
• Please clean your connectors prior to install.

Warranty

This module carries a 3 month warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep a copy of your sales record which we will send with your order.
