How often you need to refresh your trans?

The answer to that question depends on how hard you are on it. For the average racer every 2-3 seasons is fine. If you are a track rat beating on your sled a lot, then we recommend getting your trans refreshed every season.

Billet Input Shaft Upgrade

The billet input shaft is is made of billet steel vs OE standard material with substantial improvements in oiling and fit over the OE shaft.

The billet input shafts have been tested to 2100 HP so far with zero stress wear.

Billet input shaft is available for the HP70,75,90, and 95 “Max Effort” transmissions.

Billet Shafts are Recommended For:

• HP70/75 over 1000 wheel horsepower
• HP90/95 over 1200 wheel horsepower

Billet Mounting Pad Option (Torque Converters)

As the power increases north of 1000 wheel HP the flexplate does just that, flexes to a point where the mounting flange on the factory converter cracks and breaks apart. This issue is becoming more common as these units age and power increases.

The billet mounting pad was developed to mitigate this issue.

The factory mounting plate is removed and the billet pads are tig welded into place and then the converter is balanced to ensure smooth operation.

This option will add a 2 week lead time to your order.
