Calibration of your Sphygmomanometer or Digital Blood Pressure Monitor

According to §11 of the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance, blood pressure measuring devices used in the professional sector (doctor's offices, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.) must be checked every 2 years for functionality and accuracy. This is called a metrological check.

How it works:

• Continue the order process as usual
• You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, as usual
• Send in your sphygmomanometer/s or blood pressure monitor/s – please ensure that you include your contact details so that we can clearly identify your device/s
• Calibration will take 1-2 days after which we will return your sphygmomanometer/s free of shipping costs. Its new test seal confirms that the device has successfully been calibrated. We will also provide you with a test report outlining which tests were carried out.

How Can I tell if my Blood Pressure Monitor Needs to be Checked?

The first check is due for a blood pressure monitor 2 years after the date of purchase. This means that for the first test, it is not the test seal with the test date that is decisive, but the proof of purchase. From the 2nd test onwards, you can refer to the date printed on the test seal, which is located on the blood pressure monitor.
