The Hioki Wireless Mini Logger series comprises five compact, battery-powered data loggers — the LR8512, LR8513, LR8514, LR8515, and LR8520 — that connect to a tablet, smartphone, or PC for wireless data collection. Each unit uses built-in Bluetooth wireless technology so you can send measurement conditions to the logger, start recording, and then gather the stored data without a wired connection. The “WIRELESS MINI” concept lets you choose from five types to match your application while sharing one small, easy-to-install platform.
These loggers are designed for installation where wiring is difficult. Because data collection is wireless, a logger can be placed inside a switchboard or control panel and the panel door closed for safe measurement, eliminating the need to feed wiring through the enclosure. The compact, pocket-size form factor also suits measurement in high places or on moving machines, and an optional magnetic strap lets you hang a unit on a wall. Listed application areas span air conditioning and automotive flow-rate and vehicle-speed measurement, cogeneration, PV maintenance, forklifts and railroads, equipment maintenance, environmental testing, construction, factories, storage, agriculture, and server-room temperature and humidity recording.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the loggers you order are sourced and shipped directly from our own facility.
The Wireless Mini Logger series is built around a single idea: select from five types to match your application. Every model shares the same compact, space-saving body and built-in high-capacity memory for long-term recording, so the choice between them comes down to what you need to measure rather than how the logger is operated or how data is collected.
All five models record to two channels (the LR8520 uses one input channel plus one alarm output) and connect wirelessly over Bluetooth to a tablet, smartphone, or PC. Because the wireless workflow, memory depth, and management software are common across the family, you can standardize on one logging platform and deploy different model types for current, voltage, temperature, humidity, or pulse measurements.
Each new model in the series below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the specific logger type that matches your measurement need, and review that model's page for its exact specifications and ordering details.
The five models differ by measurement type rather than by performance tier. The LR8512 Wireless Pulse Logger handles pulse totalization, revolution counting, and logic ON/OFF recording with non-voltage contact, open-collector, or voltage input. The LR8513 Wireless Clamp Logger measures AC and DC load current and AC leakage current using a separate current sensor. The LR8515 Wireless Voltage/Temp Logger accepts voltage input and K- or T-type thermocouples on isolated channels.
The LR8514 Wireless Humidity Logger records temperature and humidity across two temperature and two humidity channels, while the LR8520 Wireless Fungal Logger records temperature and humidity on a single channel each, adds a calculated fungal index, and provides an alarm output. The comparison table below details each model's channels, measurement objects, ranges, and physical dimensions so you can match the right logger to your application.
| Model | Measurement Type | Input Channels | Measurement Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| LR8513 | AC/DC load current, AC leak current | 2 channels (common GND) | AC 500.0 mA to 2000 A; DC 10.00 A to 2000 A (with current sensor) |
| LR8512 | Pulse (totalization, revolution, logic) | 2 channels (common GND) | 0 to 1000 M pulse |
| LR8514 | Temperature, Humidity | 2 ch temperature + 2 ch humidity | Temp -40 °C to 80 °C; Humidity 0 to 100 %rh |
| LR8515 | Voltage, Thermocouple (K, T) | 2 ch (isolated) | Voltage -50 mV to 50 V; Thermocouple (K/T) to 1000 °C f.s. |

Important: For long-period recording, Hioki recommends using the AC Adapter Z2003.
Important: Current sensor and AC Adapter are not included with the LR8513 Wireless Clamp Logger; an appropriate Hioki current sensor must be ordered separately to measure current (see Exclusive options).
Important: Thermocouples and AC Adapter are not included with the LR8515 Wireless Voltage/Temp Logger; type K or T thermocouples must be supplied separately for temperature measurement.
Important: Temperature and humidity sensor (Z2010/Z2011) and AC Adapter are not included with the LR8514 and LR8520 humidity/fungal loggers; a humidity sensor must be ordered separately to measure temperature and humidity.
Important: Only the temperature and humidity sensors affect the measurement accuracy and are subject to calibration; the LR8514 and LR8520 loggers do not require calibration.
Important: Settings cannot be changed directly on the logger; measurement conditions are sent from a tablet, smartphone, or PC.
Important: Currents (load current and leak current) that occur intermittently cannot be measured with the LR8513.
Usage tip: pair the loggers with the Hioki LR8410-20 Wireless Logging Station to view waveforms in real time during measurement; it supports up to 7 registered units over a 30 m line-of-sight range.
