The pencil popper born under the supervision of Mr.Hideyuki Furuya who is called "Tuna Hunter".

Mr.Hideyuki Furuya is the shop master of HEAD & TAIL in Osaka, and he has hunted for Yellowfin tuna and Bluefin tuna throughout the year in Tsugaru Channel, Wakayama, Mie, Okinawa, Yaeyama islands, and so on.

In case of the jerking action which a rod tip is at the close surface water, this lure attract carnivorous fishes with bubbling in the water and a comfortable bubble sounds, not a big splash sound.

Recommended action for GATARO is to make a small dart action from side to side by giving a little line slug after medium power jerking.

In case of targeting Tuna, to have the lure keep still for a few second is very effective after the medium power jerking.

In case of targeting Yellowtail amberjack, a reeling method with short jerking is more effective, not a "Stop and Go” method.

This lure is designed to target Yellowfin tuna and Bluefin tuna, but this is also suitable for GT fishing and a casting game for big Yellowtail amberjack.

This lure has a high strength body and its wire is pierced through the body, and this is made of a natural high-floating wood with less unequalness of specific gravity.

This lure is handmade by Hideyuki Tanaka, a master craftsman of handmade lure.
