Rhododendron davidsonianum is a lovely species with dynamic blossoms that display a vibrant range of pink hues. Attractive trusses of up to six flowers sit atop a rich dark green canvas. Blooms generally start to show in April, depending on growing conditions, and turn white as they age.

These great evergreen plants have an upright growth habit that can be pruned to a fuller shape if desired. They grow to 6' tall x 4' wide at maturity. Place in full sun to partial shade, and well-draining (slightly acidic) soil. Cold hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
