Built on old-school sailor superstition and Coast Guard grit, this Pig & Rooster design is all about making it home.

Back in the day, sailors tattooed pigs and hens, or roosters, on their feet—because those animals were shipped in wooden crates and often survived shipwrecks. The meaning stuck: a little luck, a lot of faith, and the promise you’ll find your way back.

We took that tradition and gave it the Puddle Pirate treatment. Clean design, comfortable fit, and a nod to the crews who stand the watch and trust their training when it matters most.

We use the Bella + Canvas 3001 for its soft feel, lightweight comfort, and clean look. It has a slightly slimmer cut than a standard tee—closer to a retail fit than a boxy one. If you’re between sizes or prefer a roomier feel, we recommend sizing up.
