The Keysight U2300A Series USB Modular Multifunction Data Acquisition (DAQ) devices are a high-performance PC data-acquisition solution. The series spans two families: a basic multifunction DAQ comprising four models, and a high density multifunction DAQ comprising three models. Each device combines analog input, digital I/O, counter, and — on selected models — analog output functions in a single USB-connected module.
Across the series, these DAQ devices are applied in industrial and education environments. With their fast sampling rates, they are well suited to research and development, manufacturing, and design validation work. A data acquisition device of this type captures real-world analog and digital signals and routes them to a PC, where measurement data can be logged, visualized, and analyzed.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Holding inventory directly means the U2300A Series module you order is on our own shelves, ready to ship.
Keysight Technologies traces its roots to Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business, which was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999 and then established as Keysight Technologies in 2014. Instruments in this series carry that measurement heritage forward under the Keysight name.
The U2300A Series is organized into two families. The basic multifunction USB DAQ family consists of four models — U2351A, U2352A, U2353A, and U2354A — offering 16 single-ended / 8 differential analog input channels. The high density multifunction USB DAQ family consists of three models — U2355A, U2356A, and U2331A — offering 64 single-ended / 32 differential channels. All models share Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity, 24-bit programmable digital I/O, two independent counters, and SCPI/IVI-COM programmability.
Within each family the models differ chiefly in maximum sampling rate and, in the high density family, in analog-to-digital resolution. Two of the basic models are offered without analog output, while the others add two analog output channels with predefined waveform generation.
Each model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for new units. Select the specific model that matches your channel-count and sampling-rate requirements to view its availability and current pricing.
The basic multifunction models divide by sampling rate: the U2351A and U2352A provide 250 kSa/s, while the U2353A and U2354A provide 500 kSa/s. Within each pair, the U2352A and U2354A are supplied without analog output, whereas the U2351A and U2353A include two 16-bit analog output channels. All four use 16-bit analog input resolution with no missing codes.
In the high density family, the U2355A samples at 250 kSa/s and the U2356A at 500 kSa/s, both at 16-bit resolution, while the U2331A samples up to 3 MSa/s on a single channel (1 MSa/s across multiple channels) at 12-bit resolution and adds extended bipolar and unipolar input ranges. The comparison table below details the channel counts, sampling rates, resolution, and analog output configuration for each model.
| Model | Analog Input Channels | Max Sampling Rate | ADC Resolution |
|---|---|---|---|
| U2351A | 16 SE / 8 DI | 250 kSa/s | 16 bits |
| U2352A | 16 SE / 8 DI | 250 kSa/s | 16 bits |
| U2353A | 16 SE / 8 DI | 500 kSa/s | 16 bits |
| U2354A | 16 SE / 8 DI | 500 kSa/s | 16 bits |
