This USA-made clutch pedal shaft is redesigned to eliminate the original hook design that eventually wears out and breaks, especially with high performance clutches that add more pressure to the hook.  The hook is replaced by a shaft and bearing design to minimize wear.  The New Design Clutch Pedal Shafts are precision ground to German specifications, individually inspected to maintain the highest quality product, and they are made in USA. It is also designed to work with the original clutch cable, SO THERE IS  NO SPECIAL CLUTCH CABLE  NEEDED.
