Arctic Tern is a hybrid rhododendron with pure white blossoms that are adorned with a very slight yellow-green hue in the throat. You can see from our photos that the trusses are like beautiful snowballs of about 20 flowers. Blooms typically show around late April and into May, depending on growing conditions. 

Arctic Tern is a lepidote with small 1" narrow green leaves. It does well in full sun to partial shade, but more sun will help give it a fuller growth habit. This adorable dwarf varietal grows to about 2' tall at maturity. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
