AndCoat Pond Paint – Solvent-Free Epoxy Pond Coating

AndCoat Pond Paint is a high-performance solvent-free epoxy coating designed to provide long-lasting waterproof protection to concrete, masonry and suitably prepared fibreglass pond surfaces. It forms a tough, seamless and non-porous finish that prevents water loss while delivering a clean, professional appearance.

Once fully cured, AndCoat Pond Paint creates an inert, non-toxic surface, making it suitable for use in ponds, water features and tanks containing fish and aquatic plants. The solvent-free formulation ensures low odour during application and eliminates the risk of solvent leaching, while offering excellent adhesion, durability and resistance to moisture and abrasion.

Surface Preparation

Correct surface preparation is essential formaximumadhesion and durability.

Substrates must be sound, clean and dry
Remove all dirt, algae, moss, laitance, oil, grease and previous coatings
Concrete must be a minimum of 28 days old
Residual moisture content must not exceed 75% RH
Mechanically prepare concrete using abrasive blasting or diamond
grinding to produce an open textured surface
Weak orfriable areasmust be removed and repaired using suitable repair materials
