A slightly fresher and expressive nose reveals layered aromas of dark cherry, red currant, poached plum and a pretty floral character and in particular violet. There is a finer mouthfeel to the seductively textured middle weight flavors that deliver excellent length for a villages level wine. I very much like the complex and while this must still digest its wood treatment, this is a very good effort and worth your interest.
