Provenance

Crafted in our own wonderful workshop using traditional techniques, this beautiful ring has been thoughtfully designed to be cherished for a lifetime. Set to centre with a cushion shape old-mine cut diamond with a weight of 1.88ct.

This diamond has been re-purposed from an older vintage ring from the 1950s, however the stone itself is of a much earlier date. The cushion old-mine cut is a historic diamond cut originating from the late 1700s up until the end of the 19th century. Its recognised by its distinctive cushion outline, deep proportions and soft romantic glow.

Claw-set in gold in an open-back setting, above an open-gallery with a structured linear design with feels but subtle and sophisticated. Inspired by antique ring designs, we have ensured that the profile of the ring remains nice and low, ensuring comfortable and practical wear. 

The shoulders gently flow to a solid D-shape band. The gold is 14ct yellow gold - our favourite alloy for its durability and soft tone - and the ring has been hallmarked in Sheffield Assay Office.

• Hallmarks: Hallmarks that indicate the ring was assayed in Sheffield. Further marked with '14K' and '585' indicating 14ct yellow gold.
