These brushes are made from a blend of pure sable hair and synthetic fibers, providing performance close to sable at a moderate price. They are ideal for working with watercolor and fluid oil color but are also suitable for use with use with alkyds and acrylics. The high proportion of sable hair gives the brushes considerably more ability than normal synthetic brushes. The blend of sable hair and synthetic fiber also offers excellent snap, spring and enhanced color carrying capacity, and ensures that the brushes are soft enough to work the color.
